The Fair was organized by the Shenzhen Convention & Exhibition Center Management Company Ltd and the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, with the support of the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts of the Republic of Croatia. State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, Mario Antonić emphasized that recently there has been many activities between Croatia and China.

Cavtat, 11 April 2019 – HBOR hosted the meeting of the China-CEEC Interbank Association, during which the members of the Association signed the Initiative aimed at strengthening the cooperation in the field of SME development.

A long tradition of the Hi-Tech fair in Shenzhen, is a great opportunity for many Croatian innovative companies, especially those from the IT business, to find their partners for their own products and services, perhaps not only in China, but also in joint appearance with Chinese companies in the third countries.” – said State Secretary.

Shenzhen City Deputy Mayor, Chen Biao introduced the city of Shenzhen, which is one of China’s three major financial centers. He said that from January to April 2019, Shenzhen’s total exports and imports to Croatia amounted 42.05 million dollars, which is an increase of 42.6 % in regards to the same period last year.

State Secretary of the Ministry of Economy, Entrepreneurship and Crafts, Zdenko Lucić and Vice President of the Croatian Chamber of Commerce for Industry and IT, Energy and Environmental Protection, Tomislav Radoš also participated at the Fair and gave a short presentation.

At the plenary part of the Fair, Chinese companies shared their experiences, followed by the B2B discussions with the goal of networking, connecting and developing economic relations and creating new business opportunities.
